IT Support Engineer

As a IT Support Engineer, you’ll:

Provide end-to-end IT Support for WEKA’s R&D headquarters in Tel-Aviv, as well as remote IT support for teams across EMEA.
Support and maintenance for the Tel-Aviv office IT systems and multimedia equipment, including wifi, networking, printers, security, conference rooms and endpoints.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a sysadmin, IT support or a similar position in a Hi-tech company
  • Service-oriented personality: You love to work with people, enthusiastic about solving problems, positive attitude also when working under pressure in a complicated technical environment. The end-user experience and satisfaction is your first priority.
  • Self managed: You are a dedicated and organized person. You own your tasks and responsibilities, deliver on time and raise flags when needed.
  • Quick learner: You master new technological fields quickly and without outside help, to adjust to the rapidly changing business needs.
  • MacOS and Ubuntu based endpoint administration: Ability to install, support and maintain Mac and Linux based endpoints and VDIs. Ability to quickly troubleshoot issues and determine the root cause for providing efficient solutions. Knowledge of best practices. Knowledge of the function of the different computer components.
  • SSO and SaaS administration: Familiarity with SAML, OIDC, and SCIM, experience with modern IdP in an automated environment including user provisioning and de-provisioning, group assignment, app assignment and integrations of new applications. Experience with Okta is preferred.
  • User Administration: Experience with basic user management. Familiarity with user access control and permissions management. Ability to troubleshoot access issues. Experience with Google Workspace, Azure AD, AWS IAM and Okta is an advantage.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Administration: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, OCI, or Azure. Basic understanding of cloud services like compute, storage, and networking. Ability to troubleshoot and support user authentication methods, permissions and access issues.
  • Zoom Business with fully equipped Zoom Rooms: Experience with Zoom Business user and room management. Ability to deploy basic configurations and troubleshooting for Zoom Rooms and provide guidance. Familiarity with all Zoom app settings and customizations, Zoom security features and best practices.Atlassian Jira and Confluence: Basic experience with using and navigating Jira and Confluence. Ability to perform basic tasks such as creating projects, managing workflows, and organizing content. Familiarity with user permissions and basic customization options.
  • Networking and WiFi Management: Proven understanding of networking fundamentals. Ability to describe how DNS, DHCP and routers work. Ability to perform basic configurations and troubleshooting for networking and WiFi issues.
  • Network Security and VPN administration: Knowledge of network security principles and firewall administration. Familiarity with VPN technologies and basic security concepts. Ability to assist in traffic monitoring, and connection troubleshooting. Experience with Cato Networks is an advantage.
  • Apple MDM: Understanding of endpoint management concepts. Familiarity with Jamf or similar endpoint management platforms. Ability to perform basic device provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Procurement of IT equipment, Manage Suppliers and Vendor Tech Support: Responsibility for procuring equipment for all IT needs, and maintaining a small stock. Experience with IT procurement processes. Responsibility for involving integrators and vendor’s tech support when needed.
